At approximately 5:00 pm on July 4, 2019, a shooting took place near East Seven Mile Road and Mound on Detroit’s east side. 29 year old Darius Burton was wounded during the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene in a Blue/Grey Ford Fusion, westbound on East Seven Mile Road. Darius was taken to St. John Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.
