28 year old Troy Sowell-Benson, aka “TJ,” was murdered on Monday, May 12, 2014 in Detroit. The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. at 12880 W. Outer Drive near Schoolcraft.
Troy was shot multiple times after parking his vehicle outside the Top of the Drive apartments off of W. Outer Drive south of 96.
Troy Sowell-Benson was murdered 10 days after his 28th birthday. He leaves behind two daughters.
