6 month old Miracle Murray was shot and murdered on Saturday, April 16, 2016. The incident took place at 1:30 pm in the 18000 block of Winthrop near Clarita on Detroit’s west side.
Miracle and her family were out in the front yard of their home when an unknown gunman approached from across the street and started firing shots. Miracle was shot and killed, and a 24 year old man was injured.
Police believe the 24 year old may have been the intended target, but they stated that the rest of the bullets weren’t just stray rounds — they were directed at the family, including three babies.
