Jawwaad’s body was discovered at approximately 8:45 a.m. after a house fire was extinguished by the Detroit Police Department. Jawwaad had been shot multiple times before the fire. The incident took place on the 22400 block of Santa Maria Street between Grand River and McNichols on Detroit’s northwest side.
