On January 25, 2011, James Mullen was found murdered in the area of 24th Street and Selden Street on Detroit’s west side.
James, who lived in Oak Park, was found in his snow covered SUV. He was shot to death, and police believe his body had been in the car for awhile.
Neighbors noticed the unfamiliar SUV parked in the same spot for weeks, but it wasn’t until the snow began to melt that that someone looked inside and saw his body.
Mullen had been reported missing on January 6, 2011. He was 39 years old.
