Jaqueline Shelton was found murdered in her home on March 6, 2016. The incident occurred on Putnam near W. Rundell Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan. Her body was found by her cousin at 12:05 pm. Shelton died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Shelton had been running errands with family members on Friday, March 4, 2016, and told them she was heading home to rest for the weekend. Two days later one of her cousins went to Shelton’s home to borrow cookware and found the front door slightly open. When she entered the home she found Shelton deceased in her bedroom.
Jaqueline Shelton was 53 years old. She leaves behind two daughters and five grandchildren. Shelton went to Pontiac Northern High School and studied nursing at Oakland Community College.
