Gloria Wright was shot and killed at her home in Detroit on December 8, 2014.

Around 9:30 pm, Gloria went to answer the door at her home in the 15000 block of Parkside Street between Linwood and Dexter. As she opened the door, shots were fired into the home, killing her.

Authorities do not believe the shooting was random, as Wright had been under investigation for domestic violence.

Loved ones believe it was someone Wright knew, as she wouldn’t have came to the door for a stranger.

Gloria leaves behind 12 children.
