On August 19, 2008 the body of Donald Hall Jr. was found in a ditch off Judd road in Augusta Township, Michigan. He had three gunshot wounds in his neck.
Donald, a 2007 graduate of Belleville High School, left in his mother’s vehicle on Sunday, August 17 2008 around 3 p.m. and never returned home. His body was discovered around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19 2008. The car he had been driving was found off Coolidge and Woodale Avenue.
In 2014, a 53 year old man named Robert Rudat pleaded guilty to dumping Donald Hall Jr.’s body in the ditch, but he was not charged with murder. Prosecutors believe Rudat’s girlfriend is the one who pulled the trigger and killed Hall. The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office states that the case remains open, and that no one has yet been charged with Hall’s death.
