34 year old Don Jefferson Jr. was fatally shot at his home on June 24, 2008. The incident took place in the 19300 block of Hickory Street, near 7 Mile and Schoenherr Road, on Detroit’s eastside.
Jefferson had spent the day boating with friends, when he received a call to come back home. At approximately 1 a.m. Jefferson went to answer a knock at his door. When he answered he was shot and killed.
Don Jefferson Jr. graduated from Pershing High School, and attended Messiah Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit. He leaves behind a son.
