In the early morning hours of August 24, 2003, 21-year-old Deshon Howard was murdered in the Birch Park housing complex off Hess Street in the City of Saginaw.
Howard and two friends were confronted by two or three armed suspects. The suspects began arguing with Howard, eventually escalating to one of the subjects fatally shooting him. All of the subjects ran from the scene after the shooting.
