Charles Mcglown was shot to death in his own apartment on July 13, 2010. The incident took place at 1:35 pm in the 2500 block of W. McNichols near Linwood Street.
Police found Charles’ body on his sofa, where he was shot in the back of the head while sleeping. There were no signs of forced entry. Police believe the incident may have been a robbery since many of Mcglown’s belongings were missing.
39 year old Charles McGlown was a father of three and popular barber. He catered to celebrities like Barry White and El Debarge. His work earned him the nickname “Famous.”
