20 year old Bobbi Roberts was killed by a hit and run driver on November 29, 2013 in Clinton Township. An unknown driver struck her as she walked in front of the Diane Pellerin Center. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene.
Bobbi was found at 11:25 pm by a passing motorist. She was lying partially in the right lane & shoulder of northbound Gratiot Avenue, south of Capitol Boulevard. Roberts was declared deceased at McLaren Macomb hospital in Mount Clemens.
It is believed that an unknown northbound vehicle was traveling in the right lane of Gratiot and struck Bobbi. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene.
Bobbi was walking home from work when the incident occurred. She graduated from Mount Clemens Community School District as an honor student, and was a student at Macomb Community College.
