31 year old Alexandra Brueger was shot four times in the back and killed while jogging in Rose Township, Michigan. The incident took place around 2:00 pm on July 30, 2016 in the vicinity of 11240 Fish Lake Road between Rattalee Lake Road and Rose Center.
Police say the killer(s) fired four shots, one of them fatally wounding her.
Alexandra Brueger was a graduate of Holly High School and the editor of the school’s newspaper. She worked as a nurse at Providence Park Hospital in Novi. She was working on a doctorate in creative writing at the time she was murdered.
The police state that they don’t have a description of the suspect, but that they could have been driving a white or light colored four door sedan. It is unknown if if was a failed abduction, or whether she knew the killer.
Police are asking anyone who saw a vehicle speeding or driving erratically in the area of Fish Lake Road and South Fenton Road on July 30, 2016 to please come forward.
